About us

Vietnam Kiteboarding School is in center of Muine, the kitesurfing Mecca of south east Asia. During the high season the wind blows here almost everyday ranging from 15 knots in the morning up to 30 knots in the afternoon with some days up to 40 to 45 knots.

Our experienced Instructor team has been kiting and teaching for more than 5 years and is fully IKO (International Kite Boarding Organization) qualified. Our friendly assistant instructors team speak fluent English and are ready to help you practice your favorite sport.

We welcome all kite surfers from beginner to expert.

Hai Tran:

IKO Instructor.

Hai was the first Vietnamese IKO Qualified Instructor. He began kite boarding in 2002 during his travels through Vietnam. He has a solid background in water sports competing and teaching in windsurfing, surfing, sailing, wakeboarding, and waterskiing.

Holder of the Muine sailing trophy 2008.

Hai speaks his native Vietnamese and is fluent in English.

Hai has been teaching in Muine for several years and set up his own school in 2008.

 

 

 

Ben Waters,

BKSA Kitesurfing Instructor

Ben is from the U.K and has recently moved to Muine to teach and enjoy the paradise of Mui Ne. He has kited and taught in many locations around the world includeing Kenya, Greece and many parts of the United Kingdom.

 

 

 

 

 

Kin Nguyen (King of Muine)

Surf Instructor

Kin is a Muine local and has a background in windsurfing, surfing, and wakeboarding. Kin started kite boarding in 2000 and became a pro rider afer 2 years of kiting and regulary competes in competitions most notably achieving 2nd place of the King of Muine in 2007 and 1st place in, 2006, 2008 and 2009. He has now joined the KTA tour for 2010.

Quy is a Muine local and has a background in windsurfing, surfing, and wakeboarding. Quy started kiteboarding in 2002 and has excelled in the sport competing in many competitions and has a solid teaching background.

Quy speaks his native Vietnamese and is fluent in English.

As one of the best kite boarders in Muine he is available to give you advanced kite lessonsincluding transitions, kite loops, handle pass technique and much more.

Hong started kiteboarding and surfing 4 years ago and quickly developed his skills. He has been teaching for over a year and has become an integral part of the instructor team.

He has a great smile and is part of the new generation of Vietnamese freestyle kiteboaders.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Quoc Lap:

Kitesurfing/windsurfing and surf Assistant Instructor.

Quoc Lap a Muine local has been working in the kite surfing business for the past 7 years. Working previously for several windsurf/ kitesurf schools around Muine, he has experience with extreme Windsurfing and kiting locations and dealing with foreign tourists.

He is there to help you on the beach and is great friend to ride with. Watch out for this promising young Windsurfer.
